Each day, between sessions, we have a wonderful time of fellowship with our Cambodian brothers and sisters! It begins with a 20 minute or so devotional/bible study, and is followed by breaking bread together. I have to admit that it is personally one of my favorite times of the day. A time to get to know the Lord, and some wonderful people. It doesn't much better than that!
During the break, we also have a time to just play with the kids, who range from about three years old to fifteen years old. And that, is where Miss Manners gave her all ... twice ... on two consecutive days. Something about Miss Manners that I bet you didn't know. She is quite the soccer player. While playing a rather energetic game of soccer with some of the older boys, Miss Manners went for the score ... and got it! Unfortunately, as is the custom her, she was barefoot and as you might imagine, one of her toes isn't quite the same as it was. It is at the very least sprained, and quite possibly broken. However, always a fashion statement, her toe has turned a very pretty color of purple. God is faithful though. Miss Manners insists it doesn't hurt at all, and her actions seem to indicate that is the truth.
The very next day, she had a "wardrobe malfunction," and we all know how important her wardrobe is to her. We won't go into details as to the how and why. Let's just leave it at ... the seat of her pants was torn like the curtain in the temple. Linda came to the rescue with her handy staple gun, and Miss Manners was able to continue. She was very careful how she sat for the remainder of the day.
For those of you that are not aware, each day of the teaching is divided into separate topics. On the first day we explored creation. Yesterday, Adam and Eve's sin in the garden. Today, we are going to be talking about Jesus, God's love for us, and His plan. I can't wait. This is the good part!!!
Pray on Christian warriors! Without you, we can do nothing.

Hah! Split teams, split pants...yet unity via the Spiritual Staple gun of Christ. Colossians 1:17: And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
For Miss Manners - How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation - Isaiah 52:7 😁
Oh my! Poor Miss Manners. The breaking bread fellowship sounds lovely. Praying God’s annointing over the teaching on Jesus and God’s love, as well as Heaven.
