Ephesians 3:20-21 To Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations.....for ever and ever.
This is what I have seen from the beginning of my adventure so far. I have seen God do more that I have asked or imagined. Starting with taking the risk to say yes and put out the need for support. My family, church and friends cheered me on with prayers, encouragement and financial support. It was more than I ever expected. Talk about God lavishing His goodness on me. It was if God swung open the door and said. Here you go walk through.
As I walked through this door. I was met by some long time dear friends who I have served with , off and on, over the last 35 years in different capacities. It has been so fun sharing our stories, pictures and testimonies. Lots of laughing, crying, praising God and prayers. These are "my people," and my cup is full.
With these friends we ventured to the Dominican Republic and we were met at every turn by the most amazing missionaries, pastors, church members and youth servants. I see the Love of God is all over the world. And the love of God transcends wealth, culture, language barriers even denominations etc. The Love of Jesus just is so amazing, bubbling over as we taught the teacher training; hung out with the youth, walked the streets in the community and sat with the little children to help them make a craft. There is so much more. But God has used us to put His love out into this community but they have forever touched my heart. It's bursting with Joy and thankfulness to be a part of His work.
Today we are resting as we wait to go to the airport and head off to Jamacia. The rain is coming down hard and the thunder is loud. God is showing off! And this week I got to have a front row seat to see my King show off. To Him be all the glory forever and ever amen! Romans 11:36
Beautifully said and I can feel the fullness of Jesus in this sweet "lil" GIANT team. The upside down world of God. Fullness in emptiness. Riches in poverty. Peace and calm in storms 🥰. Thank You Lord for "showing off"!
That is soooo awesome Debbie. Praying for all who went, and for all the lives you have touched. Safe travels, love you.
Your big sister Tami. 😘😘🥰
